Head Coach Randy McPherson
Coach Randy McPherson has assembled a resume that
in many ways rivals any in the country in 14 seasons as a head coach. McPherson
came to Lowndes after six seasons the Head Coach of the Madison County
Cowboys in Florida's 2A classification where he posted an astounding 71-9
record (.888) and won a State Championship in 2001, his final season in Florida. Since his arrival
at Lowndes High the Vikings have amassed a record of 90-16 (.849) and won the
2004, 2005, and 2007 State Championships in Georgia’s
largest classification. Coach McPherson currently has a total career record
of 161-25 (.866) with four State Titles and 10 District/Region Titles across
two states and the Viking’s program seems poised to remain a power for
years to come under his guidance.
